All was fine as described. If I disable the Sound Card in the device manager then enable it, it will go fine until I restart again. I have this soundcard too. Forum Themes Mobile Progressive. I would leave the computer and come back an hour later to no sound. I suppose that I will eventually have to switch back to XP, or buy a new card. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.

Have you vitsa using the front panel rca inputs and outputs for recording and playback with these drivers in Win7? So I am currently using the vista drivers and am wanting to know if there is something I can do to fix it when windows boots up?
Sound could always be restored by disabling and then re-enableing the device, so I put a batch file to do that on my desktop. It didn’t work that well for me so I scrapped the audio interface for a Lynx.

Hey there, I also got a blue screen when trying to reset the Asio settings in the control panel, but even though I didn’t change them, everything works fine and the quality is good. I have tried to disable and re-enable the card with the Device Manager, sometimes it works, sometimes not.

I am currently running 2 X four year old Pentium 4 2. It would work fine for a while. I eventually just got rid of it and used the on-board soundcard in that PC because it worked significantly better in Vista. One of the problems are that the local shops refuse to sell Windows XP.
